Vejle Hospital has today (4 July 2016) treated its first patient planned in RayStation (RaySearch Laboratories, Sweden) with a scripted workflow. The plan was a dual-arc VMAT delivery for a patient with prostate cancer, where the prostate and seminal vesicles were prescribed 78Gy and regional lymph nodes were prescribed 56Gy. A couple of months following installation, training, testing and quality assurance, etc. the first course of treatment has commenced in earnest!
