Welcome!
IWDM 2016, the 13th International Workshop on Breast Imaging. Formerly called the International Workshop on Digital Mammography (IWDM), our new name recognizes the move in breast imaging towards recent and emerging technologies and multimodality imaging solutions. IWDM 2016 is designed as a platform to present the latest technological developments and clinical experiences of novel breast imaging technologies, including digital mammography, tomosynthesis, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, optical and molecular imaging. Additional topics include multimodality imaging, image processing and visualization, and computer aided detection/diagnosis (CAD).
The IWDM meetings bring together a diverse group of researchers, clinicians and representatives of industry, who are jointly committed to developing technology for early detection and subsequent patient management of breast cancer.
Conference Venue
Malmö is the third largest city in Sweden with about 320 000 inhabitants. The conference will be held at Clarion Hotel & Congress Malmö Live, at the very city centre (about 5 min walk from Malmö Central Station). Copenhagen airport (CPH) is the closest airport, 20 min by train.
Abstract submission
You are welcome to submit a paper for the workshop. Both an abstract and a 3-4 page PDF supporting document must be submitted by the deadline. This submission will be graded by the scientific program committee to select the most appropriate papers for the conference. Papers will be selected for either oral or poster presentation. Oral presentations will be arranged thematically and assigned 15 minute slots depending upon the number and quality of submissions. Posters will be presented by the authors during specific poster sessions. All reviews will include a critique that authors must address in the final submission. The accepted papers will be published in a scientific journal.
Deadline for abstracts is 11 January 2016
