Nordic Congress 2013 in Bergen
21. december 2012 - Karina Lindberg Gottlieb
Dear friends and colleagues,
Bergen - recognized as the unofficial capital of Western Norway
and sometimes also referred to as the Gateway to the Norwegian
Fjords, is the perfect venue for our Nordic Congress in 2013.
The programme will include a selection of world renowned speakers,
debates, posters, state of the art mini-symposia, not to mention a
social programme which makes the most of Bergen's historic and
architectural heritage.
The three day congress and exhibition, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, situated on the word famous Bryggen wharf, will offer a unique opportunity to renew old friendships - to establish new, and to liaise professionally. Please review the Scientific programme found in the menu bar.
Being the second largest city of Norway, Bergen is easy to reach. Bergen Airport Flesland (BGO) is well connected with both the capital Oslo as well as other Nordic cities. Direct flights from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Iceland, London, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. The airport is situated some 30 minutes by bus from the city centre.
For information about Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS), flight schedules and reservations, please see www.flysas.com
The online registration platform and abstract submission tool will open on September 3rd 2012.
We look forward to seeing you in Bergen in May 2013.
With best regards,
Professor Karen Rosendahl
