The course duration is five days (Monday through Friday) in Copenhagen with the two first days focusing on radiation therapy (dosimetry and radiobiology) while the three remaining days focus on the concepts and principles behind medical imaging modalities (CT, MR, PET).
The summer school is intended for medical physicists, engineers, and, master and PhD students in medical physics and biophysics. Further technically minded physicians (radiation oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine) and veterinarians working with imaging modalities can benefit from participation in the course.
