Advanced Radiotherapy of Anal and Rectal Cancer

It’s a great pleasure to announce the symposium ‘Advanced Radiotherapy of Anal and Rectal Cancer’ to be held on November 6 - 8, 2013 in Vejle, Denmark.

This symposium will focus on the definition of the target and organs at risk, advanced techniques for dose planning, imaging, dose-escalation, MRI-guided brachy therapy and patient care. Furthermore, functional imaging, treatment response, morbidity and the ‘wait-and-see’ approach will be discussed. Topics will be presented by participants and/or invited speakers in plenum or workshops.

The symposium is aimed at radiation oncologists, radiotherapy technologists, dose planners and physicists. Attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts for consideration for brief or full presentations – these should be sent to nina.kier@rsyd.dk no later than September 1, 2013.
