DICOM dose and QC data collection, processing and visualisation

The course will summarise the standards for collection of DICOM dose and QC data from the PACS workflow and give a practical description on how to implement workflows in a standard PACS environment. Applications that work and are available will be presented to highlight the use of image metadata and there will be a session that summarises the intentions of the regulatory authorities in the Nordic countries with respect to automated collection of patient doses in diagnostic radiology.

The objective is to present a practical introduction to the topic, describe the practical possibilities at hand and provide a platform for further developments in the field.

The course will take place conveniently close to Arlanda airport outside of Stockholm in Sweden and registration will commence in the middle of august.
